Just Wanna Have Fun.
Bulacan And Pampanga Culinary Tour

This part here is something about me and how I ended up taking up Culinary Arts in SKD Academy. Lariam Kryszel S. Agocillo is my name.I am a mother of 4 kids with a trashy history of being a student. I was a Nursing student before and I felt like it wasnt really for me. I like long boards, skateboards, hardcore and metal music, arts, peircings and tattoos. Im a 27 yr old woman trapped in an 18 yr old mind set.
I like going outside my box and sometimes I like staying just inside of it. I dont like risks, but I like testing waters. I was hesitant at first to try out the Culinary life. I dont know if Im worthy of it. I feel like im still an amatuer and my soon to be classmates will flambe me alive. So I made a deal with my dad. If I can find an affordable Culinary school, he will fund my "back to college" needs. if I cant, I will continue my Nursing course because thats what he really likes for me. Luckily I came across SKD Academy at google. But before going to the said school, I already inquired to some of the expensive Culinary schools here in Manila and to tell you honestly, you wont feel the warm welcome SKD gave me.
When i visited SKD, I was entertained by Sir Louie. Super nice guy. He answered all my queries and even called me "kapatid"(brother or sister).
So I talked to my dad and my partner about my plans of enrolling. So my father will fund my tuition and my partner will fund my allowance.
And here I am now writing this blog. I think SKD deserves a shout out. This school didnt just taught me how to mince, saute, slice, flambe, degorge, blanch, tourne and sear. This school also taught me how to work in a team, to be excel in everything you do, to be professional, how to be a follower and a leader at the same time, how to multi task, how to keep your cool and how to think before you react.
Hope you enjoyed reading my very first blog to ever write. please leave a comment and dont forget to hit like. :)
