Our second stop was one of my favorite destination. Lugaw is one food I will eat again even if Im still full. Lugaw ni Abel serves Lugaw (rice porridge) with cow's eyes, heart, tongue, intestines and brain. Lugaw with cow's brain was served to me. There is this distinct aroma that will leave your taste buds. It taste like soya beans only with lots of pork fats and a bit of balut (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balut_(food)) in it.

Lugaw ni Abel was named after Maria Isabel, the mother of the owner. Its humble beginning started with a nipa hut back in the 1980's. This humble restaurant is located near Santisima Trinidad Church.  I wanted to visit the Church but I didn't had the chance.

This is one place I would recommend to my friends. Aside from its humble beginnings, the authenticity of the recipe is there.
