After Lugaw ni Abel, our bus headed to Sta. Rita Pampanga where Ocampo- Lansang delicacies is located. Here is another story of rugs to riches. The business started early 1920's where in Dominican Sisters taught the Lansang Sister the recipe of this very addictive delicacies. The very wrapper of the Turrones is called "oblea". It is made of flour and water and baked in a machine called "barquilera" (the same machine makes the delicacy name barquillos) and the person operating the machine is called a "barquillero".
Of course before leaving, I made sure I have "pasalubong" for my kids and my partner. And also more to stock in the house if ever I crave for it.
This is a "must visit" place in Pampanga.
